Yona Solutions is seeking a friendly Laundry Aide to join our team in Illinois. Experience is not required, but preferred; training will be provided. You will handle laundering tasks, operate equipment, and deliver clean laundry to residents and staff with a focus on quality service.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning compounds and disinfectants.
• Ability to work independently.

• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Folds clean, dry linen and places into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes clothing.
• Maintains equipment and laundry areas; keeps them neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
