Yona Solutions in Taylorville, IL is seeking a Laundry Aide to join our team. You will help provide a warm, clean environment for residents, transport dirty and clean linen, operate commercial washers and dryers, and maintain neat inventory records.

Experience is not required but preferred. We value reliability, the ability to work independently, and a compassionate, customer-focused approach to delivering high-quality service to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Follow written and oral instructions concerning cleaning agents and solutions.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to work with residents and personnel.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, keeping them neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Checks stock and notifies supervisor of supply needs.
• Delivers laundry as specified.
