Yona is looking for a Laundry Aide to join the team and provide warm, friendly hospitality to residents, visitors, and coworkers. Experience is not required, but preferred.

Responsibilities include operating commercial washing machines and dryers, transporting laundry, sorting and folding linens, maintaining inventory, and delivering laundry as specified. The environment emphasizes responsibility, growth, and compassionate service.

Qualifications

• Experience with laundry tasks and cleaning chemicals is a plus.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions precisely.

Responsibilities

• Transports laundry containers of soiled linen and clean linen carts.
• Operates commercial washing machines and dryers.
• Sorts and loads soiled linen into washers and loads clean, wet linens into dryers.
• Proceeds to fold clean, dry linen and place into clean carts.
• Keeps accurate records of linen inventory.
• Washes, dries, folds and distributes customer clothing.
• Maintains equipment and the laundry areas, keeps areas neat, orderly and safe.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Puts Customer Service First: Ensures that customers and families receive the highest quality of service.
