Job summary

Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa is seeking a friendly and motivated Host to deliver exceptional guest service in our fine dining environment. You will greet guests, manage reservations, seat guests and maintain great standards throughout service.

The ideal candidate has hands-on food and beverage knowledge, experience in hospitality, and excels at problem-solving while working flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Hands-on knowledge of food and beverage service and hospitality.
• Minimum of experience hosting in a fine dining setting preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Excellent customer service, friendly demeanor and strong problem-solving skills.
• Must communicate clearly in English with guests, management and coworkers.
• Proficient with POS systems and hotel payroll software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards and comply with hotel policies.
• Prepare for health department inspections and maintain sanitation.
• Answer phone, manage reservations, greet and seat guests.
• Coordinate restaurant host stand and guest entrance.
• Keep restaurant space clean and organized; report maintenance needs.
• Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menu items.
• Deliver high-quality table settings and attentive guest service.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
