Job summary
Northrop Grumman Space Systems, MDIOC in Colorado Springs, CO, seeks a Computer Systems Analyst – Level 2 to support the Warfighter Training team. The role involves operating the GFC/C Training System, configuring GST, and interfacing with MDIOC and government personnel for daily training operations.
The position requires working evenings and weekends, a Secret clearance (interim to start), and up to 10% travel.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in STEM with 2 years of related work experience, or 0-2 years with a Masters; or 6 years in lieu of a degree.
- U.S. Citizens capable of obtaining a Secret security clearance; interim clearance required to start.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% and to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Technical analysis and technical communications experience; proactive, self-starter attitude.
Responsibilities
- Ensure correct start up and operation of the GFC/C Training System
- Coordinate with contractor and Government personnel to schedule training systems and de-conflict them with other activities
- Verification/modification of training configurations
- Operate the GFC/C training system and the simulation system with MDIOC coordination
- Maintain documentation and manage system logs
- Identify/report anomalies and support system upgrades
- Collaborate with MDIOC and external teams on training solutions
