Job summary

McCormick & Company, Incorporated is seeking a warehouse professional with forklift experience to join our hybrid team at the Hunt Valley, Maryland headquarters. The role involves selecting orders, loading and unloading trucks, and performing general warehousing tasks using our Warehouse Management System.

Responsibilities include moving goods, checking inventory, conducting sanitation and pallet wrapping, inspecting orders, and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience on stand-up & sit-down forklifts.
• Proficient computer skills with MATLAB, Excel and Teams.
• Overtime is required and regular attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Move finished goods and packaging materials between locations.
• Check inventory status using Warehouse Management Systems and locate items.
• Perform general warehousing tasks including stock rotation, sanitation, pallet wrapping and battery changes.
• Inspect orders and load pallets onto trucks, ensuring accuracy against load lists.
• Identify and communicate issues to Workleaders and teammates across shifts.
• Complete required paperwork and truck inspections.

Position Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Warehouse Workleader, this position selects orders, loads and unloads trucks and performs general warehousing functions, using power transporting and lifting equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Moves finished goods and packaging materials from one location to another.
• Utilizes computer systems to check inventory status. Locates all materials to current locations using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Performs general warehousing duties including stock rotation and consolidation, sanitation, shrink wrapping pallets, and battery changing.
• Inspects and checks orders to be shipped against load lists and loads pallets on to trucks.
• Identifies and communicates issues to Workleaders, internal customers and team members on other shifts.
• Completes necessary paperwork and truck inspections.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of forklift experience on stand-up & sit down
• Computer Skills (MATLAB, Excel, Teams)
• Overtime is mandatory at times and regular attendance is required as essential job responsibilities for the position.

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program .
