Job summary

Springs Window Fashions is seeking a warehouse associate in Edison, NJ. The role supports daily warehouse operations with training provided, paying $19.00 per hour. Typical shift is 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include picking orders, loading/unloading, labeling, cycle counts, banding skids, and basic equipment maintenance. Benefits and a chance to learn forklift operation are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred as stated.
• Some manufacturing experience helpful but not required.
• Forklift training or willingness to learn forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders according to specifications using lift or order picker.
• Load and unload trucks and print labels/inventory tickets.
• Initiate cycle count requests when variances are detected.
• Band/Wrap skids for delivery and complete related paperwork.
• Perform daily maintenance on warehouse equipment and safety checks.
• Operate straight lift/order picker/reach lift (will train).
• Maintain cleanliness and support other duties as assigned.

Job Purpose

Support warehouse daily operations (Will receive training)

Pay- $19.00per hour

Shift- 5:30 AM -2:00PM- Monday to Friday

Job Duties

• Pick orders in accordance with the order form specifications, using lift or order picker
• Load and unload trucks
• Print labels and inventory tickets
• Initiate cycle count requests when inventory variances are detected
• Band/Wrap skids for delivery
• Complete import/export paperwork as necessary
• Clean assigned areas; recycle as appropriate
• Perform daily maintenance on warehouse equipment (maintain, charge, clean batteries)
• Operate straight lift/order picker/reach lift (will train)
• Performs other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

Education and Experience

• Minimum - High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3-6 months manufacturing experience Preferred
• Willing to learn forklift

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of FRN system
• Accuracy/Attention to detail
• Must be able to work assigned overtime
• Must be a self-starter, self-motivated, have good organizational skills, and able to prioritize
• Maintain good attendance and safety record
