Kloeckner Metals - Americas in Dallas, TX is seeking a Warehouseman to efficiently move materials within the plant, operating overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload goods and to support continuous production flow. You will handle inventory tagging and documentation, ensure accurate records, and use computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials.

This role requires reliability, basic math, and attention to detail to maintain high quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Math: basic arithmetic with whole numbers and use of US units for weight, volume, and distance
• Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
• Demonstrated reliable work history
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in inspections

Responsibilities

• Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials
• Receives incoming inventory and ensures proper tagging and documentation
• Maintains production line equipment and ensures raw materials are available to minimize downtime

Job Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials
• Inventory Management: Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentation
• Production Support: Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime
• Computer Operations: Utilizes computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials
• Additional Duties: Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED required. 1 to 3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, and use units of American money and measurements for weight, volume, and distance
• Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history
• Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks
