Kloeckner Metals - Americas in Washington is seeking a Warehouseman to efficiently move and manage materials on the plant floor. You will operate overhead cranes and forklifts, help maintain production line equipment, and support inventory control.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math, and reliable performance with strong attention to detail. You will use computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials while collaborating with supervision to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic arithmetic and measurement skills using standard units.
• Must pass vision, hearing, and mobility screening.
• Reliable work history with consistent performance.
• Strong attention to detail in all inspection tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials.
• Receive incoming inventory, tag and document accurately.
• Maintain production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime.
• Use computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Summary Of Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Operates overhead cranes and forklifts to load and unload materials
• Inventory Management: Receives incoming inventory, ensuring proper tagging and documentation
• Production Support: Maintains production line equipment with necessary raw materials to minimize downtime
• Computer Operations: Utilizes computer systems to tag, ship, and receive materials
• Additional Duties: Performs other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or GED required. 1 to 3 months of related experience or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) with whole numbers, and use units of American money and measurements for weight, volume, and distance
• Physical Requirements: Ability to pass a physical examination for vision, hearing, and mobility
• Reliability: Demonstrated reliable work history
• Attention to Detail: Must be detail-oriented with a strong focus on precision and quality in all inspection tasks
