Job summary

PALA Group, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Assistant in La Porte, Texas. The successful candidate will process, organize, and store inventory, and package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery.

Ideal applicants are comfortable standing for long periods, focused on meeting quotas, and familiar with inventory software. A valid driver’s license and experience with equipment are preferred for operating or driving equipment as needed.

General Description:

The warehouse assistant will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The warehouse assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, and experienced in inventory software and databases. The warehouse assistant may also operate heavy machinery, or drive equipment, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Essential Functions:

• Help with shipping and receiving in the warehouse
• Assist in maintaining shop and yard
• Adheres to all applicable safety standards

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cross-train with other departments as needed.
• Participates in other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Position Requirements

Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure:
