Job summary

PALA Group, Inc. is seeking a general laborer for US Fusion & Specialty Construction in Texas.

You will assist with fuses, fabricating and installing products for assigned jobs, performing digging, loading/unloading, lifting and moving materials on site, and supporting various crew functions. Safety-focused and reliable candidates with a high school diploma and valid driver’s license are preferred; willingness to travel and ability to work under supervision are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• TWIC and OSHA card required.

Responsibilities

• Digging, loading/unloading, lifting and moving materials on site.
• Maintain good housekeeping on jobsite and in the shop.
• Adheres to all applicable safety standards.

General Description

Assist with fuses, fabricating and installing products for assigned jobs. Performs general manual labor tasks including digging, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or foreman.

Essential Functions

• Digging, Loading/unloading, lifting and moving of materials on site.
• Responsible for good housekeeping practices on jobsite and in the shop.
• Adheres to all applicable safety standards

Additional Duties And Responsibilities

• Cross-train with other departments as needed.
• Participates in other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
• Must be willing to travel.

Position Requirements

Minimum Experience, Education, and Licensure

• Valid TWIC - OSHA card
