Job summary

PALA Group is seeking a hands-on general laborer for on-site work with duties including digging, loading and unloading, lifting and moving materials. You will help maintain shop and site housekeeping while following safety standards and procedures.

Position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and a valid TWIC/OSHA card. Travel may be required, and cross-training with other departments is expected to support diverse job sites.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Position Description

US FUSION & Specialty Construction

General Description:

Assist with fuses, fabricating and installing products for assigned jobs. Performs general manual labor tasks including digging, loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials. Assists a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed. May require a high school diploma or its equivalent with 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or foreman.

Essential Functions:

• 1. Digging, Loading/unloading, lifting and moving of materials on site.
• 2. Responsible for good housekeeping practices on jobsite and in the shop.
• 3. Adheres to all applicable safety standards

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Cross-train with other departments as needed.
