Job summary

PALA Interstate is seeking a Warehouse Assistant for our Baton Rouge operations. The role focuses on processing, organizing, and storing inventory, packaging, scanning, and preparing orders for delivery. The candidate should be comfortable on their feet and motivated to meet quotas.

Experience with inventory software is preferred. A valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift are desirable as the job may involve driving equipment and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

• Ability to operate forklift is a plus.

General Description

The warehouse assistant will be responsible for ensuring inventory is processed, organized, and stored. The warehouse assistant will also package, scan, and prepare orders for delivery. The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet, focused on meeting quotas, and experienced in inventory software and databases. The warehouse assistant may also operate heavy machinery, or drive equipment, so a candidate with experience and a valid driver’s license is preferred.
