Job summary

Graybar in Dallas is hiring a Zone/Service Center Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, staff, and WMS processes to meet service standards.

The role involves coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, training staff, and ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Regular hours are Monday–Friday, with base salary starting at $56,000 annually and bonus eligibility based on metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.
• Ability to perform physical requirements to receive, pick, pack, ship and move materials in a warehouse.
• Knowledge of WMS processes; capable of teaching system utilization.
• Leadership skills to supervise staff and achieve results through others.
• Strong organizational, time management and mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform activities of staff engaged in loading, unloading, packing, shipping, receiving, wire cutting and inventory control; ensure timely customer service.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by scheduling drivers and preparing shipping documents.
• Monitor dispatch operations and communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to resolve issues.
• Perform supervisory duties including training and assigning work; manage staffing and transfers as needed.
• Perform physical tasks to lift and move inventory; operate warehouse equipment per safety guidelines.
• Maintain equipment, safety conditions and security; inspect loading operations for compliance.
• Compile records, post weights and shipping charges, and manage inventory counts.
