Mid-Cape Home Centers, a division of US LBM Holdings, is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Lead to direct warehouse and yard associates, manage inventory, and ensure safe, efficient operations on the South Shore of Massachusetts. The role involves forklift operation, leadership of a small team, and strong customer service focus.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and 4–6 years of freight handling experience. The position offers a pay rate of $26.00–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• 4–6 years industry experience / freight handling required.
• Ability to do basic math, read orders, write instructions and complete forms.
• Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with customers, other employees and supervisors.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and training abilities for a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate safely.

• Assist warehouse associates and direct supervisor in maintaining an organized work environment.
• May include emptying trash receptacles and keeping bays clean and organized.
• Receive incoming products, commodities and materials.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Count and record receipt of materials.
• Stock materials in appropriate locations.
• Assist inventory control in counting and organizing warehouse materials.
• Operate forklift with foot and hand controls.
• Build outgoing orders or load completed orders onto delivery equipment.
• Operate facility equipment as necessary (e.g., bander, power tools).
• Monitor inventory as required by location management.
• May have some logistics oversight or act as backup.
