Job summary

Homewood & Meeks, a Division of US LBM, is seeking a Yard/Warehouse Rep I. This entry-level role receives, stocks, ships, counts inventory items and operates a forklift to stock lumber and building materials. You will work within established safety procedures.

Pay range is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour. Responsibilities include operating safely, maintaining an organized workspace, assisting inventory control, and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform basic math and read orders.
• Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to learn to read a tape measure.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely.
• Maintain organized work environment.
• Receive incoming products and stock materials.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Count and record receipt of materials.
• Load outgoing orders onto delivery equipment.
