Job summary

KLN Family Brands, a long-standing Perham, MN company, is hiring a Day Shift Warehouse Yard Driver. The role supports shipping, receiving, and yard movements, with a schedule 6:45am–3:00pm, Monday–Friday, on a full-time basis.

Base pay starts at $22.48/hr with a $1.22/hr sign-on bonus, plus profit sharing eligibility after one year and a robust benefits program including PTO, holidays, tuition assistance, and access to the KLN Clinic.

Qualifications

• Must have current CDL License and updated Health Card.
• Ability to drive forklift and pass certification exam.
• Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving and movements of products.
• Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging in their proper locations after receiving.
• Proper and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily yard truck inspections and maintain overall yard truck cleanliness.
• Shuttling and moving storage trailers in a timely fashion.
• Operate the shrink wrapper, box crusher, etc. as necessary.
• Report any safety issues and unsafe conditions.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains.
• Place raw materials and finished goods on hold and release as necessary.

Warehouse Yard Driver Day Shift – Kenny's Candy & Confections

Hours: 6:45am to 3:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

• All in hourly compensation: $23.60/hr
  • Base Pay: $22.48hr
  • Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2025)

What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring a Day Shift Yard Driver position to to define the responsibilities and provide instructions for tasks performed by warehouse yard truck drivers.

• Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and movements of products.
• Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging in their proper locations after receiving.
• Proper and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Drive the shuttle truck to deliver and pickup product and supplies as necessary.
• Perform daily yard truck inspections and maintain overall yard truck cleanliness.
• Shuttling and moving storage trailers in a timely fashion.
• Forklift, shuttle truck operation and being certified and licensed to drive such vehicles.
• Operate the shrink wrapper, box crusher, etc. as necessary.
• Perform physical and cycle counts of inventory as necessary.
• Backup or substitute material handler positions when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains.
• Place raw materials, packaging and finished goods on hold and release as necessary.
• Report any safety issues, unsafe conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to drive forklift and pass certification exam
