Job summary

KLN Family Brands in Perham, MN is seeking a Mid Shift Material Handler to support warehouse operations. You'll manage loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, and inventory counts, and operate a forklift on the 2:40pm–11:00pm shift, Monday–Friday.

The role emphasizes organization, accuracy, safety reporting, and efficiency. Compensation includes hourly pay with base, a sign-on bonus, and a night-shift differential, with profit sharing after one year.

Responsibilities

• Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses.
• Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and movements of products.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging in their proper locations after receiving.
• Proper and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Drive the shuttle truck to deliver and pickup product and supplies as necessary.
• Forklift operation and certification eligibility.
• Operate shrink wrapper and related equipment as needed.
• Perform physical and cycle counts of inventory.
• Backup inventory control positions as needed.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains.
• Place raw materials, packaging, and finished goods on hold and release as necessary.
• Report safety issues and accidents immediately.

Material Handler Mid Shift – Kenny's Candy & Confections

Hours: 2:40pm - 11:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

• All in hourly compensation: $21.50/hr
  • Base Pay: $19.13/hr
  • Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
  • 6% Shift Differential for Night Shift: $1.15/hr
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.5 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2024 which equated to an extra $6.10/hr or $12,688 annually for employees)

What We Are Looking For

We’re now hiring a Mid Shift Material handler to be responsible for defining responsibilities and provide instructions for tasks performed by material handlers in the warehouse. • Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses.
• Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and movements of products.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging in their proper locations after receiving.
• Proper and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Drive the shuttle truck to deliver and pickup product and supplies as necessary.
• Forklift, shuttle truck operation and being certified and licensed to drive such vehicles.
• Operate the shrink wrapper, box crusher, etc. as necessary.
• Perform physical and cycle counts of inventory as necessary.
• Backup or substitute inventory control positions when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains.
• Place raw materials, packaging, and finished goods on hold and release as necessary.
• Report any safety issues, unsafe conditions and accidents immediately.
