Job summary

KLN Family Brands in Perham, MN is seeking a Day Shift Yard Driver to manage shipping, receiving, and yard movements. You will operate forklifts and shuttle trucks, maintain yard cleanliness, and ensure accurate loading/unloading of materials, with daily counts and inventory control.

The role requires CDL license and Health Card, with opportunities for profit sharing and benefits in a family-owned environment.

Qualifications

• Must have current CDL license and updated Health Card.
• Forklift operation certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate and timely shipping, receiving, and movements of products.
• Keep finished products organized and located properly in warehouses.
• Rotate ingredients and packaging in their proper locations after receiving.
• Proper and accurate loading and unloading of trucks.
• Drive the shuttle truck to deliver and pickup product and supplies as necessary.
• Perform daily yard truck inspections and maintain overall yard truck cleanliness.
• Shuttling and moving storage trailers in a timely fashion.
• Forklift, shuttle truck operation and being certified and licensed to drive such vehicles.
• Operate the shrink wrapper, box crusher, etc. as necessary.
• Perform physical and cycle counts of inventory as necessary.
• Backup or substitute material handler positions when necessary.
• Identify opportunities for efficiency and productivity gains.
• Place raw materials, packaging and finished goods on hold and release as necessary. Report any safety issues, unsafe conditions.

Warehouse Yard Driver Day Shift – Kenny's Candy & Confections

Hours: 6:45am to 3:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Compensation:

• All in hourly compensation: $23.60/hr
  • Base Pay: $22.48hr
  • Sign on Bonus: $1.22/hr worked
• Profit Sharing Eligibility: Begins after completing 1 year of employment ($7.7 Million in Profits Paid to Profit Sharing Pool in 2025)
