Job summary

Atlas NextWave is seeking a Warehouse & Yard Coordinator for the US Offshore Wind Farm project in Providence, RI. This contract role focuses on maintaining an efficient storage yard, coordinating materials, and ensuring safety on site.

You will conduct inspections, manage stock in the equipment pool, assist with subcontractor sourcing, and support the Yard Manager USA in daily operations and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with warehouse operations and yard management.
• Forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligible for a TWIC card.
• Proficient English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to work in extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections on the storage yard and report housekeeping or corrective actions to Yard Manager USA.
• Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all personnel and contractors.
• Assist Yard Manager USA with identifying local subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and control stock levels in our equipment pool, including spares, rigging and lifting gear.
• Execute small maintenance tasks on the yard or in the warehouse (e.g., tarpaulin installation on assets).
• Discharge of garbage from containers returned from offshore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct all activities and tasks required for an efficient and effective storage yard, representative for our clients.
• Perform regular inspections on the storage yard and actively report the need for housekeeping or other corrective actions required for the yard to the Yard Manager USA.
• Promote a safe and healthy working environment for all unit personnel and contractors/freelancers working within the Yard USA premises.
• Assist the Yard Manager USA with identifying local subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor and control the stock levels in our equipment pool, including spares, rigging and lifting gear.
• Execution of small maintenance tasks on the yard or in the warehouse (e.g. small pain jobs/tarpaulin installation on our assets etc.).
• Discharge of garbage from containers that return from offshore.

Requirements:

• Basic computer skills (MS Office)
• Ability to work in extreme heat and cold.
• Warehouse operation
• Preferred to have heavy forklift, telehandler, and scissor lift experience
• Forklift license or willingness to obtain one
• Eligible for a TWIC card
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Must live within commutable distance to Providence, RI

Experience within offshore wind, logistics, warehouse, yard operations, marine, or heavy equipment environments would be highly advantageous.
