Job summary

Penske Logistics is hiring warehouse associates in Groveport, Ohio to join an energetic team. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and a friendly, outgoing attitude to excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Base rate is $20.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential.

Work schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:30pm–12:00am, with occasional overtime and Saturdays as needed. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, and boot allowance after 90 days.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

Responsibilities

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage – at times process may deviate
• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight – at times process may deviate
• Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product
• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
• Escalates issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Must be willing to be trained and certified to operate the following pieces of equipment
• Reach Truck Operator
• Pallet Jack (electrical or manual)
• Cherry Picker /Stock Chaser
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Opens and closes dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Scanning & counting parts
• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor
