Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑mocused, outgoing team in Ohio. Base rate is $20.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential, totaling $21.00 hourly. The role includes picking/packing, stocking, and operating equipment in a fast paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multitasking, organizational skills, flexibility, and time management skills required

Responsibilities

• Picking/packing parts accurately and safely.
• Place inbound freight physically and systematically.
• Report discrepancies and damaged product.
• Search for misclassified inventory.
• Operate equipment as trained (Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker).
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Support loading, dock operations, and shift duties as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage – at times process may deviate
• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight – at times process may deviate
• Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product
• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
• Escalates issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Must be willing to be trained and certified to operate the following pieces of equipment
• Reach Truck Operator
• Pallet Jack (electrical or manual)
• Cherry Picker /Stock Chaser
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Opens and closes dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Scanning & counting parts
• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
