Zusammenfassung

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates in Groveport, OH for a safety-conscious and outgoing team player. Base rate starts at $20.00 per hour with a standard Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00am to 3:00pm and overtime as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, PTO, and more.

Ideal candidates are dependable, capable of lifting up to 50lbs regularly and 100lbs occasionally, and willing to be trained on equipment such as Reach Trucks and Cherry Pickers.

Qualifikationen

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow directions.
• Ability to work overtime.
• Regular, predictable attendance.

Aufgaben

• Picking/packing parts with accuracy and care.
• Place inbound freight physically and systematically.
• Report discrepancies and damaged products.
• Locate misclassified inventory.
• Escalate issues to supervisor promptly.
• Operate Reach Truck, Pallet Jack, Cherry Picker with certification.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Open and close dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort and place parts in racks.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Scan and count parts.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage at times process may deviate
• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight at times process may deviate
• Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product
• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
• Escalates issues timely and directly to supervisor
• Must be willing to be trained and certified to operate the following pieces of equipment
• Reach Truck Operator
• Pallet Jack (electrical or manual)
• Cherry Picker /Stock Chaser
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Follow all safety requirements
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Opens and closes dock doors
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• Scanning & counting parts
• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
