Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates in Groveport, OH. You will operate equipment like forklifts and reach trucks, perform picking/packing, and ensure accurate, damage-free processing of parts. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork within a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Reading and following directions required.
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, cherry picker.
• Pick/pack parts accurately and prevent damage.
• Move inbound freight and report discrepancies.
• Escalate issues to supervisor.
• Search for misclassified inventory.
• Match numbers and letters.
• Follow all safety requirements.
• Stage and sort products for loading.
• Open and close dock doors.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Sort and store parts.
• Stack boxes and pallets.
• Move materials within warehouse.
• Scan and count parts.
• Complete all other duties as assigned.

$21.12 + $1 shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate the following pieces of equipment: Forklift, Reach Truck, Pallet Jack (electrical or manual), Cherry Picker /Stock Chaser

• Picking/packing parts in a manner to ensure accuracy and prevent damage – at times process may deviate

• Physically and systematically placing inbound freight – at times process may deviate Report product discrepancies/variances of over/under amounts and damaged product

• Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor

• Conduct searches in order to locate misclassified inventory

• Accurately match numbers & letters

• Follow all safety requirements

• Stage and sort products for loading

• Opens and closes dock doors

• Maintain a clean and safe work area

• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas

• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets

• Move materials within the warehouse

• Scanning & counting parts

• Completes all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Preference will be given to applicants with prior forklift experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
