Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety-conscious, outgoing team in a fast-paced environment. The role offers a base pay of $19.00 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am in New Jersey.

Responsibilities include staging and loading, loading/unloading trailers, and maintaining accurate inventory while following all safety rules. Lifting up to 100 lbs and operating warehouse equipment are required.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking, organizational skills, flexible, and good with numbers and time management.

Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Loads and unloads trailers.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Ability to lift between 50-100LBS consistently.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Maintain inventory records.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment as applicable.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Loads and unloads trailers

• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Maintains inventory records
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
