Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join an energetic, safety‑minded team in New Jersey. You will stage, sort, load and unload products, while following safety policies and maintaining accurate inventory records.

We offer a competitive wage with a $19.00 base rate plus a $1.00 shift differential, plus comprehensive benefits and opportunities for overtime. The role requires the ability to lift up to 100 lbs and operate warehouse equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Accurately stage and sort products for loading
• Loads and unloads trailers
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas
• Complies with all safety requirements

Ability to lift between 50-100LBS consistently

Flexibility to work OT

• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Quality control
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
• Maintains inventory records
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
