Penske Logistics is hiring Warehouse Associates at our New Jersey location. The role focuses on accurate picking, packing, and material handling in a safety-conscious warehouse environment.

Typical shift is Monday through Friday, 6:45am to 3:15pm, with opportunities for overtime. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401K. EPJ, Reach Truck, RF scanners may be used.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and quantities.
• Lift up to 50–100 lbs as part of shifts.
• Operate warehouse equipment (RF scanners, forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Follow all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE.
• Package and kit finished products for shipping.
• Maintain accurate inventory by locating items and updating systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products by matching numbers and products
• Need to be able to lift 50lbs to 100lbs
• OT is required
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Follow all safety requirements
• Accurately select products by matching numbers, picking required quantities, and confirming locations
• Hand stack cases of product in a defined stacking pattern repetitively from floor to pallet throughout duration of the shift
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and a variety of warehouse mechanical equipment (where applicable)
• Operate forklifts or pallet jacks to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several
• locations for shipment (where applicable)
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Must be willing to operate EPJ, Reach Truck, Forklift, and use RF Scanners

Qualifications:

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, and time management skills required
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
