Job summary

Dot Foods is seeking a Warehouse Worker in Dyersburg, TN. The role involves operating material handling equipment and palletizing product to meet customer standards using computerized equipment.

The position is part-time with a schedule including Friday and Saturday days and nights, in a warehouse with temperature extremes. Ideal candidates will be 18 or older, pass a physical abilities test, and have vision and hearing adequate for safe operation of powered equipment.

Description

As a Warehouse Worker, you willoperate material handling equipment and palletize product for shipment according to customer standards utilizing computerized equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Safely & efficiently utilize the warehouse material handling equipment
• Build stable, well-built accurate pallet loads for shipment
• Consistently pick, load, receive, and replenish product to meet established company production and service levels
• Utilize warehouse processes to minimize damage and other wastes

YOU MUSTHAVE

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test to ensure you can meet the physical demands of the job
• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• High School Diploma or general equivalency degree
• Prior warehouse experience
• Successful work experience in an environment that promotes safety
• Background in a production-based job

ROLE SPECIFICS

Schedule:Part-Time -

• Friday and Saturday Days6:30AM - 5PM
• Saturday, Sunday Days6:30AM - 5PM
• Sunday, Monday Days6:30AM - 5PM
• Friday, Saturday Nights5:30PM - 6AM
• Saturday, Sunday Nights6:00 PM - 4:30 AM
• Sunday, Monday Nights6:00 PM - 4:30 AM
• Environment: Warehouse environment with temperature extremes ranging from 5 degrees in frozen to ambient temperatures in dry
• Job Demands: Regular physical activity, including lifting up to 35 or 60 pounds repetitively
• You will be required to obtain pallet jack & narrow aisle license and forklift certifications during initial training phase
