Job summary

Dot Foods, Inc. is seeking a part-time Warehouse Worker to operate material handling equipment and palletize products for shipment according to customer standards.

You will build stable pallet loads, pick and load goods, and replenish inventory while adhering to safety and quality guidelines. Training will cover forklift and pallet jack operation, with protective measures in place to ensure a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to pass a physical abilities test.
• Sufficient vision and hearing to operate powered equipment safely.

Job description

As a Warehouse Worker, you willoperate material handling equipment and palletize product for shipment according to customer standards utilizing computerized equipment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Safely & efficiently utilize the warehouse material handling equipment
• Build stable, well-built accurate pallet loads for shipment
• Consistently pick, load, receive, and replenish product to meet established company production and service levels
• Utilize warehouse processes to minimize damage and other wastes

YOU MUSTHAVE

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a standard physical abilities test to ensure you can meet the physical demands of the job
• Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely

YOU MAY ALSO HAVE

• High School Diploma or general equivalency degree
• Prior warehouse experience
• Successful work experience in an environment that promotes safety
• Background in a production-based job

ROLE SPECIFICS

Schedule: Part-Time -

1. Friday and Saturday Days6:30AM - 5PM
2. Saturday, Sunday Days6:30AM - 5PM
3. Sunday, Monday Days6:30AM - 5PM
4. Friday, Saturday Nights5:30PM - 6AM
5. Saturday, Sunday Nights6:00 PM - 4:30 AM
6. Sunday, Monday Nights6:00 PM - 4:30 AM

• Environment: Warehouse environment with temperature extremes ranging from 5 degrees in frozen to ambient temperatures in dry
• Job Demands: Regular physical activity, including lifting up to 35 or 60 pounds repetitively
• You will be required to obtain pallet jack & narrow aisle license and forklift certifications during initial training phase
