Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a dependable warehouse associate for night shift operations. You will handle general scale operations, manual reweigh tasks, and safe forklift use to load/unload goods.

Strong attention to inventory accuracy and ability to work in cold environments are essential. Responsibilities include stacking pallets, assisting with rework, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment with Telxon devices.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in cold environment.
• Pallet Jack or forklift certification preferred.
• Hand held scanner experience preferred.

• Performs manual scaling at the reweigh station, including general operation and basic maintenance.
• Stacking boxes (up to 50 lbs) on pallets by product code.
• Assists with rework by repairing cases or identifying cases for return.
• Maintains inventory accuracy by submitting daily scale adjustment reports.
• Rotates stock as required.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Loads trucks with equipment and by hand (up to 50 lbs per case).
• Fills customer orders accurately using Telxon equipment.
• Keeps area clean with daily sanitation.
• Reports shipping problems to supervisor promptly.
• Other duties as assigned

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the general operation and a basic maintenance of the auto scale.
• Performs manual scaling at the reweigh station, including general operation and basic maintenance.
• Constant repetitio n of stacking boxes weighing 50 pounds on pallets which are segregated by product code
• Assists with rework by either repairing the cases or identifying cases for return.
• Assures inventory accuracy by submitting daily scale adjustment reports.
• Rotates stock as required.
• Operates forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Loads trucks both with equipment and by hand which vary in weight up to 50 pounds per case.
• Ability to fill customer orders accurately using Telxon equipment.
• Keep area clean by performing daily general sanitation.
• Reports shipping problems or concerns to Supervisor of Lead Person immediately.
• Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need :

• Pallet Jack or forklift certification preferred
• Hand held scanner experience preferred
• Ability to work in cold environment
• Ability work well with other
• Ability to live 50 lbs. Or more
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication (Prove it test)
