Job summary

Cardinal Health in Stafford, TX is hiring a Warehouse Associate. Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM or until finish. Pay is $20.60 per hour, includes shift differential.

You will receive and fulfill orders, perform picking, packing and prepare shipments to customers. No prior warehouse experience is required; training is provided on day one. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, HSA, 401(k), paid parental leave, and other programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting quotas and attendance requirements.
• Experience with computers/POS systems is a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English for document processing.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks to keep a clean, safe workplace.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
