Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform receiving, picking, packing and shipping in a fast-paced distribution center. You will help ensure accurate orders, quality checks and timely delivery while maintaining safety standards.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds and the ability to stand for long periods. Shifts are Monday–Thursday nights with Friday night into early morning, at $22.36 per hour plus shift differential.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Follow directions and adapt priorities as required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic English proficiency for reading/writing documents.
• Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participation in projects.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a safe work environment.
• Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications
