Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support the Auburn, WA distribution center on a Sunday through Thursday shift. You will perform order picking, packing and shipping tasks while following SOPs to ensure accuracy and safety.

The role offers a pay rate of $24.45 per hour (includes shift differential) with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) and HSA. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.

Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing, loading and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as assigned by management.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, maintaining a clean work environment and complying with EH&S requirements.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, preferred
