Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a warehouse associate in Peabody, MA to fulfill orders during the Sunday-Thursday night shift. Duties include picking products, quality checks, packing, and preparing shipments with potential overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders by following established processes.
• Pick products, perform quality checks, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.
• Operate equipment such as cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie-rider.

Shift and Pay

Shift: Sunday through Thursday Sunday: 6:00pm - until task completion Monday through Thursday: 8:30pm - 5:00am (or until task completion). Overtime is required based on business needs. Anticipated hourly range: $25.00 per hour - $25.70 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential). Bonus eligible: No.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders.
• This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty.
• Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie ride.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.
