Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform order fulfillment through picking, packing, and preparing shipments. The role offers hands-on training in a fast-paced warehouse environment and opportunities to train on material handling equipment.

We welcome candidates with varying levels of warehouse experience and provide first-day training. The position is on-site in Greensboro, NC with a daytime schedule and shift differential noted in the pay rate.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with heights up to 30 ft.
• Able to follow directions and adjust priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies like computers or POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders: pick, quality check, pack, and prepare for shipment.
• Cross-training across warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, cherry picker, reach truck).

Pay rate:$20.60 per hour (includes shift differential)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.

Qualifications

We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!

• Cross‑training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.
