Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role in Missouri. The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm or until finish, with an hourly pay rate of $20.61. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, HSA, 401k, and more. You will handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping while ensuring accuracy and safety.

No experience required; training provided on day one. Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and read/write English to process documents.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort with heights 20–30 ft regularly.
• Able to bend/reach/stoop/lift and stand for full shift.
• Follow directions and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Experience with computers or POS systems is a plus.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Must read/write English to process documents.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders by picking, packing and preparing for shipment with accuracy.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment and perform inventory tasks.
• Train and obtain certification to operate material handling equipment as required.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider

Qualifications
