Job summary

Cardinal Health, Inc. is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role in our Reno area facility. You will fulfill orders, perform quality checks, pack items, and prepare shipments while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Cross-training and project participation are encouraged to support team goals. We offer on-the-job training, opportunities to operate material handling equipment, and a benefits program including health coverage, a 401k plan, and HSA.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working at heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Willingness to work in cold 36°F-42°F for up to 10 hours or longer.
• Ability to follow directions and adapt to priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with technologies, like computers or POS systems, is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, quality checks, packing, and shipment prep.
• Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participating in projects.
• Housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a safe environment.
• Train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required.

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am-4pm (or until task is complete)

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include receiving product, fulfilling, packaging, and shipping orders within established team goals to ensure on time order delivery.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift

Qualifications
