Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates at our Lebanon, TN site. The role involves operating forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment, scanning products, and assembling customer orders with attention to safety and accuracy.

We offer a $20.59 base rate plus benefits including PTO, medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401K, boot allowance after 90 days, and associate discounts. Overtime and Saturday work may be required.

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally 100lbs.
• Safety sensitive position requiring background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, cherry picker, reach truck, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Complies with all safety requirements.
• Operate printing machines and assemble components.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Accurately match numbers & letters.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required

• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
