Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join a safety‑minded team in Lebanon, Tennessee. This role offers a friendly, outgoing atmosphere and opportunities to excel in a warehouse environment.

Shifts include a 9:00am–5:30pm schedule with potential Saturday work. Penske provides a competitive wage and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401K, PTO and a boot allowance after 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Able to work overtime and flexible with schedule.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and occasionally 100lbs.
• Background check and drug screening required; safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

• Use of hand and power tools in the assembly area.
• Operate printing machines.
• Package or kit finished product for shipping.
• Scan products using warehouse management system.
• Identify damaged products and remove them.
• Attach tags to containers or mark with IDs.
• Read work orders and determine material needs.
• Assemble containers and crates with hand tools.
• Prepare customer orders for pallets or shelves.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.

• 1B Shift: Monday thru Friday, 9:00am- 5:30pm

Must also be available to work Saturdays as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Use of small and large hand tools and power tools in the assembly area
• Operate printing machines
• Complies with all safety requirements
• Package or kit finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
• Ensure damaged products are identified and removed when received
• Attach identifying tags to containers, or mark them with identifying information
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs
• Assemble product containers and crates, using hand tools and precut lumber
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department
• Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
• Uses computer to enter records
• Accurately match numbers & letters
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Stacks cardboard boxes and pallets
• Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

• Experience in warehouse inventory wire and cable is preferred
• Experience in Warehouse is preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge in electrical components is a plus but not mandatory
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, flexible, excellent with numbers and time management skills required
• Flexible to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
