Aerotek is hiring a Warehouse Worker for a contract role in Omaha, NE. The shift is 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am with pay $17/hr, plus a range up to $19/hr. Responsibilities include packing, labeling, inspecting, and adhering to safety standards in a high-volume environment.

You will operate pallet jacks and RF scanners and support inventory and order fulfillment processes onsite. This fully onsite position offers paid weekly pay and benefits eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Responsibilities

• Place product into coolers, affix labels, and ensure correct items are packed per procedures.

• Visually inspect product, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for issues.
• Follow proper handling and packing to prevent damage.
• Lift dry ice, verify weights meet specs.
• Place dry ice into suitable coolers per order requirements.
• Identify and reject defective dry ice by weight, specs, and packaging.
• Attach appropriate shipper labels and ensure correct shipping mode.
• Perform quality control to confirm orders are accurate and well-presented.
• Correct packing errors by replacing items and recording the fix.
• Inspect coolers at roughly 75 per hour for quality and accuracy.
• Meet attendance and punctuality expectations for smooth operations.
• Perform general warehouse tasks: picking, packing, loading/unloading, etc.
• Use pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other tools for inventory and order picking.
• Support inventory processes and production tasks to ensure timely fulfillment.

Job Description

This role is a hands-on General Warehouse Worker position focused on accurately packing, labeling, and inspecting products in a high-volume warehouse environment. You ensure that customers receive the correct items in clean, properly packed coolers while adhering to safety and quality standards throughout the fulfillment process.

Responsibilities

• Place product into coolers, affix the correct labels to containers, and ensure customers receive the proper item(s) packed according to established procedures.
• Maintain and follow all company safety policies at all times while working in the warehouse.
• Visually inspect product, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for cleanliness, damage, or defects that could result in unsightly product or damaged goods being shipped to customers.
• Follow proper handling and packing procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage during storage and shipment.
• Lift dry ice from bins to the scale, verify weights, and ensure they meet specifications.
• Place dry ice from the conveyor into appropriately sized coolers according to order requirements.
• Identify and reject defective dry ice based on weight, specifications, and packaging standards.
• Distinguish between different package shipping modes and affix the appropriate shipper labels to each cooler.
• Perform quality control inspections of coolers to confirm that orders are accurate, properly packed, and correctly presented.
• Correct packing errors by obtaining the proper product or premium, placing it in the cooler, and accurately recording the error.
• Inspect coolers at a sustained rate of approximately 75 coolers per hour while maintaining quality and accuracy.
• Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality to support consistent warehouse operations.
• Perform general warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, loading, unloading, assembly, labeling, and order fulfillment as needed.
• Use pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse tools to complete inventory, order picking, and production activities.
• Support warehouse inventory processes and general production and packing tasks to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
