Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company seeks a Warehouse/Materials associate in Sandy, UT to help keep materials moving in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. This hands-on role suits candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving or forklift experience who thrive with activity and quick turnaround.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and related equipment, loading/unloading, inventory transactions, cycle counts and FIFO, while supporting shipping and receiving and maintaining safety and quality

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving or logistics.
• Forklift experience preferred or ability to become certified.
• Basic computer and inventory system skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

• Perform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions and cycle counts.

• Participate in shift start-up meetings, 5S activities and continuous improvement projects.

Position Summary

Join BD's warehouse team and play a critical role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our manufacturing operation. This hands‑on position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience who enjoy staying active and working in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and other material handling equipment
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility
• Perform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions, and cycle counts
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
• Ensure warehouse safety, security, quality, and inventory accuracy standards are met
• Participate in shift start‑up meetings, 5S activities, and continuous improvement projects

What We’re Looking For

• Warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience
• Forklift experience preferred (or ability to become certified)
• Basic computer and inventory system skills
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities
