Job summary

BD is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Associate to support our Sandy, UT operations. This role will handle forklifts and material handling equipment, load and unload trucks, and keep inventory accurate through cycle counts and FIFO methods.

The successful candidate will work a rotating 12-hour shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM) with every other weekend off, join a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and contribute to safety and efficiency across shipping, receiving, and warehousing tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics.
• Forklift experience preferred or ability to become certified.
• Basic computer and inventory system skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
• Perform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions, and cycle counts.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Ensure warehouse safety, security, quality, and inventory accuracy standards are met.
• Participate in shift start-up meetings, 5S activities, and continuous improvement projects.

Position Summary

Join BD's warehouse team and play a critical role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our manufacturing operation. This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.
