Job summary

BD’s warehouse team in Sandy, Utah is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Associate to keep materials moving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, rotating every other weekend off.

Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving or forklift is preferred; candidates with forklift cert or ability to certify encouraged to apply. Join a climate-controlled facility with on-site cafeteria and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics.
• Forklift experience preferred (or ability to become certified).
• Basic computer and inventory system skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and other material handling equipment
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility
• Perform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions, and cycle counts
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
• Ensure warehouse safety, security, quality, and inventory accuracy standards are met
• Participate in shift start-up meetings, 5S activities, and continuous improvement projects

Position Summary

Join BD’s warehouse team and play a critical role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our manufacturing operation. This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and other material handling equipment
