Job summary

BD's warehouse team in Sandy, Utah, is hiring a hands-on Warehouse Associate to keep materials moving safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. The role suits candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience who thrive on activity and teamwork.

Shifts run 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on a rotating 12-hour schedule, with every other weekend off. Forklift experience preferred; certification possible.

Qualifications

• Warehouse, shipping or logistics experience.
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to become certified.
• Basic computer and inventory system skills.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility.
• Perform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices.
• Support shipping, receiving and warehouse operations.
• Ensure warehouse safety, security, quality and inventory accuracy standards.
• Participate in shift start-up meetings, 5S activities and continuous improvement projects.

Position Summary

Join BD's warehouse team and play a critical role in keeping materials moving safely and efficiently throughout our manufacturing operation. This hands-on position is ideal for candidates with warehouse, shipping, receiving, or forklift experience who enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, turret trucks, pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and other material handling equipment
• Load and unload trucks and move materials throughout the facility
• Perform warehouse replenishment, inventory transactions, and cycle counts
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) practices
• Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations
• Ensure warehouse safety, security, quality, and inventory accuracy standards are met
