Job summary

Apr Supply in Plum Borough, near Pittsburgh, is seeking a Warehouse Worker for a Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm shift. This full-time role offers a competitive wage and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, vacation and sick days, 401K, and more.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and scanning orders; helping load trucks; maintaining inventory accuracy; and following safety policies. Training provided and overtime may be available.

Qualifications

• One year warehouse experience required.
• Ability to read and operate hand-held RF scan device and use Warehouse Management System.
• Ability to count accurately on a repetitive basis.
• Physically able to lift, carry, move up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to communicate with leads, supervisors, coworkers and customers.
• Self-motivated and willing to work with others.

• Pull, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Receive shipments, log into inventory, and perform audits.
• Move shipments to put-away zones efficiently.
• Build pallets and position them for loading docks.
• Assist in loading trucks for delivery to customers.
• Report inventory discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain proficiency with computerized systems and equipment.
• Keep the facility clean, safe and operating efficiently.
• Adhere to health, safety, and quality standards.

This position would be Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm. THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN PLUM BOROUGH (near Pittsburgh).

What You'll Do

The Warehouse Worker will increase operational efficiency, company profitability, and customer satisfaction by accurately and safely receiving and storing materials, as well as picking, packing, and scanning orders for pickup and delivery.

• Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery or pickup
• Receive shipment, log into inventory, and maintain inventory through audits
• Move incoming shipments to put away zones in an efficient manner
• Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
• Assist in the loading of trucks for delivery to customers
• Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to appropriate personnel
• Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel
• Assist in keeping facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently
• Adhere to health & safety policies and quality standards
• Willing to work some overtime when needed
• Other duties as assigned

Required for Success

• Physically able to lift, carry, move etc. products up to 75 pounds regularly and heavier items occasionally
