Job Description

The Warehouse Worker’s main responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming products, preparing orders for transport, and performing inventory and quality control duties. This person ensures the warehouse is clean and organized, maintained in accordance with the facility protocols and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies related to deliveries and invoices.
• Organize and store all incoming products in designated locations, applying FIFO (first in, first out) inventory controls for perishable items.
• Operate manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and/or forklifts after appropriate training.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders for requisitions or established par levels.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to ensure accuracy and meet production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse or to other client locations, using carts, PIVs, or motor vehicles as required.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts according to established schedules.
• Complete administrative tasks, including maintaining records such as inventory counts, temperature logs, spoilage logs, and equipment inspections, either manually or via digital systems.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, and freight zones.
• Implement safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures, using all necessary safety and PPE equipment.
• Secure company and client assets appropriately.
• Interact professionally with clients, employees, vendors, and guests, and attend meetings as required.
