Job summary

PALS, an affiliate of Life-Science Innovations, seeks a full-time Warehouse Team Member in Minnesota Willmar Township to manage stock flow, load/unload, and order packing with accuracy.

You will operate a forklift, assemble orders, update inventory records, and provide high-quality service to customers while working both indoors and outdoors. Starting wage ranges from $15.32 to $19.14 per hour.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required or preferred.
• 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Basic math and counting accuracy for inventory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load products from trucks and move stock to storage.

• Prepare packing slips using computer.
• Check returns and re-shelve as needed.
• Answer questions and provide quality customer service.
• May drive company vehicle to deliver or pick up items.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in assigned areas.
• Assist Service Department with on-site installations as needed.

Job description

PALS is seeking a full-time Warehouse Team Member to join the organization. An affiliate of Life-Science Innovations, PALS is a retail supplier of agriculturalequipment, feed, and medications serving the hog, poultry and cattle industries.

Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for a variety of tasks to control the flow of stock through the warehouse, monitoring goods in and out, safely and efficiently moving and handling items and keeping organized inventory records.

Material Handling and Warehouse:

• Loads and unloads products and supplies from trucks.
• Moves items from receiving areas to storage.
• Marks materials with identifying information, using a stencil, a crayon or other marking device. Sorts and places products or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to a predetermined designation.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves.
• Gathers items from bins or shelves and ensure the order is complete and correct.
• Enters number of products distributed into a computerized inventory system.
• Prepares packing slips using a computer.
• Checks in and re-shelves returned merchandise.
• Answers questions or refers concerns by communicating proactively and demonstrating commitment to high quality service.
• May drive a company vehicle, at times pulling a trailer, to deliver merchandise to local customers or to pick up items from local merchants.
• Cleans assigned areas.
• Notifies management of any spills of hazardous materials.
• May be asked to assist the Service Department with on-site installation.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Experience operating a forklift
• 3 plus years of prior warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Basic math skills required
• Strong verbal, written and listening communication skills
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Flexibility in adjusting to changing situations.
• Willing to learn basic computer operations
• Willing to work both indoors and outdoors
• Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willing to be a team player

General working hours are Monday- Friday between 7:00AM-4:00PM; Must be available to meet customer needs beyond the normal workday when needed.
