Job summary

Atkore is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM shift. You will load/unload, pick, pack, label, and prepare goods for shipment while operating PIT equipment. A strong safety mindset and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities include tracking items, auditing counts, maintaining inventory locations, and supporting daily workflows with the supervisor. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification and PIT operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trailers, flatbeds, and docks.
• Sort and move palletized and bulk materials within warehouse areas.
• Pack, wrap, and count boxed goods for shipment with audit accuracy.
• Identify/label materials and track locations to maintain inventory.
• Prepare items for shipment and assist with loading for delivery.
• Operate forklifts and related PIT equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards as directed.
• Assist supervisor with workload planning and prioritization.

Job description

Warehouse Associate (Monday - Friday 6AM - 2:30PM) $23.12/hr.

• Deliver industry leading service to our customer by being actively engaged in your area of operation
• Load and/or unload incoming and/or outgoing materials and products
• Sort & move palletized and bulk materials in and out of trailers, flatbeds, containers, loading docks, and storage racks/areas
• Packing & wrapping of boxed/palletized goods with a quality focus on accurate counting and auditing of material
• Identify/label materials/pallets, and track their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory accuracy
• Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, picking, packing, and loading the items for delivery (both physically and systematically)
• Required to operate Powered Industrial Trucks including but not limited to: pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, reach trucks, and stock chasers to move material
• Track and log all checklists for PIT’s (Powered Industrial Trucks)
• Ensure all operating procedures, safety guidelines, and all plant rules are being followed daily
• Maintaining housekeeping and 5S standards as defined by site leadership
• Responsible to conduct themselves in line with company mission statement, core values, and standards of conduct
• Works with Supervisor/Manager to plan workload, priorities, supplies needed, and assess skills to complete tasks
• Printing and sorting order paperwork
• Performing cycle counts as needed
• All other duties as assigned

• Ability to lift and manipulate up to 50lbs or assist in a team lift of 51+ pounds
• Standing and walking up to 10 hours per day
• 3+ years of Forklift Certification/Previous Experience operating is preferred
• 3+ years of Warehouse experience in a retail/large box distribution center is preferred

Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
