Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring a Warehouse Worker to support receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment. The role runs Monday through Friday from 6am to 12:30pm, offering a stable schedule and a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a large food warehouse is preferred.
• Must have a strong work ethic.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Able to work in temperature extremes and humidity.

Responsibilities

• Participate in all distribution and receiving functions for the warehouse.

• Maintain accurate inventories and ensure timely distribution and receiving.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Warehouse Worker. This position is Monday - Friday 6am-12:30pm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Participate in all functions of the distribution and receiving for the warehouse
• Receive products coming into the warehouse
• Verify quantity and description of products
• Assemble and fill orders to be shipped
• Stock incoming orders
• Maintain accurate physical inventories
• Ensure all distribution and receiving in a timely and orderly manner
• Follow proper receiving procedures
• Comply with all AVI policies and procedures, including but not limited to security procedures
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. cleanliness, safety concerns, or security concerns)

Requirements:

• Previous large food warehouse experience is preferred
• Great work ethic
• Ability to be exposed to temperature extremes and humidity
• Ability to maintain a fast pace and multi-task
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods of time
