Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and organize incoming lumber and building materials in the yard.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and/or pallet jacks while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Prepare lumber orders for delivery or customer pickup accurately and efficiently.
• Organize and maintain the lumber yard, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
• Operate machinery and equipment effectively, ensuring proper maintenance and safety procedures are followed.
• Keep accurate records of inventory and perform periodic stock checks.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Physical ability to work outside in various weather conditions and lift/load materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Previous experience operating forklifts and/or pallet jacks is preferred.
• Solid work history in a related field such as warehouse, construction, or manual labor.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to assist customers effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with a team to achieve common goals.
• Adherence to safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Hours:

Monday through Friday from 6 a.M. To 3 p.M.
